10,579 beads used. My largest yet.
Anyway, to answer a few questions, this piece is made of Perler Beads, and is flat-ironed. I bought 6 bags of red to complete it. The whole process took about 30 hours in total. I made the pattern and sprite myself on GIMP.
The characters in this piece are Naota and Canti. This is based off a scene where Naota emerges from Canti's head, possessed by the powers of Atomsk, The Pirate King. (It's really an awesome anime if you've never come across it. And only 6 episodes long! Watch it if you haven't already. Actually, watch it even if you have already seen it. Lol.)
I really hope everyone likes this. I worked so, so hard on it. Let me know what you think! Remember, faves are alright, but nothing beats a comment! ^_^

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactThis is really fantastic! Sometimes I wonder how you do it... The technique of this piece just makes a shiver go down my spine. When I see pieces like this, it makes me think you did this with magic. When I make a large piece, it has a lot of bumps, curves, and even sometimes over-heated beads. But this... This is awe-inspiring! It's colossal, and it is definitely full of dedication. I wish I could do something as great as this, and maybe I will one day. I know you'll be a huge inspiration to many other perler artists all over Deviant art.
