My girlfriend and I are running an Etsy Shop together lately, and just recently, I'm really trying to get this damn thing together. I'm out of a job at the moment, and I really wanted this do be at least SOME form of income for me. Anyway, I just wrote up the shop's policies, titles, welcomes, and I'm working really hard to make this somewhat professional so I might end up doing this for a part time job. The reason I'm letting everyone know this is mostly because I need help. In anyway you can give it. I feel like I've given a lot to the Perler Bead community in the past, pointing out sites for sprites or decent pattern makers, giving tutorials on how to make or improve the Perler Beading process, and giving advice and encouragement to anyone who asks for it. I'm simply asking for a little help back.
And by help, I don't necessarily mean purchasing anything from me. I mean, if you're watching me, then odds are you're a Perler Bead/_____ Bead artist yourself. Help can be spreading the word that I have a shop open, or giving me suggestions on what you'd like to see me sell. Or giving advice on how to promote or improve the shop. Basically, I'm call on anyone who ever thought my help, advice, or work in general helped their own art improve. I'm asking that you help any way that you can, big or small. And I can promise that any of your help won't be taken for granted. I'm not going to give up on this, even if it takes a while, because I really do love this craft, and I'd like to make it something I can be a success with.
Anyway, thanks for reading this over. Like I said, even suggestions and tips about selling would be a great help. I'm really pumped up for this, and if I can get you only just pumped enough to spread the word on Facebook and Tumblr every now and again, it'd get me that much more freakin' psyched. Thanks again everyone. You guy rock. ^_^
